The last few days and continuing have been quite rough for my family and I. Financial troubles are nothing new to any of us and at some point we all face them. So when things are down in the dumps how do I keep myself from ripping out my hair??? I'm not going to give you a list of money saving ideas and how to earn fast cash or any of that gossip because I'm sure we have all heard it all before.
Instead I'd like to give you another way of thinking that may not be able to help you financially but at any low point in your life that may be hitting you in the stomach REALLY hard.
Things to Remember
1. You are not NOT ALONE. We have all been in these situations at some point or another and I promise nobody is punishing you. You have done nothing to deserve this and you are not being punished for some karmic reason.
2. It won't always be this way. When things are hitting you hard and you feel like the bad just won't let up remember that eventually something has to give and things will change.
3. Remember what you DO have. If you feel like you have nothing and you have lost everything remember you still have something. It's for you to pick yourself up and find out what those things are but there is ALWAYS something.
For me I remember that I will always have my family and that no matter what happens, if I was homeless and living on the street, I could still call home and have a couch to sleep on. I remember I have my super supportive fiance and my daughter who makes anything bad seem like just a glitch. I always say her hugs are my medicine. No matter what I always have these things and at the end of the day that makes me very happy no matter what I'm going through.
What do you always have? Take a moment to comment. Maybe some of your things will help someone remember what they have.
